Help: Window Tinting!
I'm thinking of having my passenger and driver side windows on the Z tinted by an area automotive window tinting place. They come highly recommended and seem to know what they're talking about, but I've never had windows tinted before. What should I beware of when looking to have my windows tinted?
Are there certain tinting processes that are better than others?
Are there certain tinting products that are better than others?
Anything else I should know before going ahead with tinting the windows?
Thank you! I appreciate and value all comments.

they all use a water and soap type additive so the tint will move around the window when applying the tint so they can match it up to the window once is is cut, then they squegee the tint on the window normal practice type stuff. oh and the lower the the percent number is darker 50% light 5% dark they sometimes call it limo tint 5%. also have 35% 38% 20% bronze, smoke, silver to smoke fade.
Also, not all tints are the same . . . some block more heat in the infrared spectrum than others. One manufacturer called Huperoptik (www.huperoptik.com) makes a relatively expensive ceramic-based tint that blocks 99% of the HEAT. So you can have the tint as dark as you like for looks, but still have the interior cool even on the hottest of summer days. Also, cheaper, dyed tints are prone to fade more with time, turning a purple-ish color. This only means you have to re-tint the windows in 5 years or so.
i want to tint my window too, but i am just wondering if the function that the window will goes down a little bite when the door open will distruct the process of tinting?
or can the function be dismissed?
