Been searching for the last hour and cant find a thread about removing headlights. How is it done? I need to replace my HIDs with new bulbs. I can't take the wheels off because I just bought the car from a dealer and they haven't made me a new key for the wheels locks on the wheels!! I don't wanna have to wait weeks to install my HID upgrade, help?

 

you have to remove the front bumper just turn the wheels to the left to get to the bolts in the fender well.

 

Take off ur tires, then ur front half fender wells, take off ur front bumper. Disconnect the Wires. 10 mm socket will take out the 2-3 bolts underneith and the one on the top rear and the two going in from the front.

 

Yeah in order to just change the bulbs you will need to remove the plastic inner fender to reveal the back of the housing.

 

Yeah I know about peeling back the inner fenderwell, I did so to install LED signals and driving lights, was pretty tight squeeze, I shouldn't have a problem replacing HID bulbs this was? Did wanna go thru the process again and find I could get the bulbs in ....

Just jack up the corner of the car to give you more room, then turn the front of the wheel all the way to the inside of the wheel well. You should have enough room, then, to pull back the fender well liner and replace the bulbs; no need to pull the bumper and remove the headlights (since you need to pull the fender well liers to do that, anyway...).
