Default Side skirt fiberglass work..

How much should it be roughly to fix a few cracks and chips on my greddy sides...

I plan on getting them fixed and then wet sanded and re-painted...any other tips??

The sad part is, its pretty crappy a board member would sell it to me like this and say they look "great" and "ready to put on today"

It would cost you as much as if you baught a new set of greddy side skirts for you to fix that. I cant believe someone here sold that to you The most i would have paid for that was $50 . How much did it cost you for the side skirts? Did you request pics before purchase.

It will probably cost around $300-$400. The cracks aren't that bad. Sucks someone did that to you though. You might pm them and see if you can atleast get a partial refund to help pay for them to be fixed. Or go through the shipper if he put insurance on it.

Depending on your skill with bodywork get some fiberglass resin (not bondo)and repair it wet sand then take it to the shop for paint , that should save you some cash.

I asked for a refund and me basiclly told me to screw myself and he said they were "perfect" when he shipped them and blamed UPS and we filed a claim and UPS told me to basically screw myself..

Should I make a thread trashing the guy?

I don't know if I'd go as far as making a thread. It sucks, but you really have no proof that it wasn't UPS. Unless maybe the box was in real good shape. Then you could go to say it was like that when he had it. For something like that I'd put a little resin on the back side and let it seap into the crack. Then when it cures up scuff the area and spread a little kitty hair on it. Then spread a little resin to the front side. At that point the shop could take over. I wish you were a little closer. I'd hook you up on those.

Sucks that you got misled in the sale, but its an easy fix.

You'll need some fiberglass resin and fiberglass cloth OR there is a product which has fiberglass fibers premixed into a resin, some body finishing compound (look for a product called "icing", its very easy to work with), and some sandpaper varying from 100 to 400 grit. And, some time
