Default CF varis ram air duct install

I have my air duct and was thinking about after i cut and install it, there would be a straight airway path to the stock intake filter. Would driving in the rain be a problem? I mean rain water, would it pass through the filter? I'm probably over nuking this but better safe than sorry and ask questions. Whatever light shed on this would be appreciate.

Thanks.

so driving in the rain wont pose a danger? That's the only reason why i haven't ventured to install it yet.

I have a CF air duct (varis replica) and have had it for the past 5 months. I driven it through snow and rain storms, and never had any problems with any water damage. Just dont drive through a lake and you'll be fine.

one more hint.. try to hold like a metal ruler or something similar if with your left hand and cut with your right hand if you have shaky hands. This lowers the chance of "fooking" up the bumper.
