Hi all,

I have 03 Touring with upgrade alarm. When I hold down the unlock button on the keypad it rolls down the windows. When I hold the lock button the doors lock and the lights flash and horn honks, but the windows won't roll up.
Does the upgrade alarm disable the window roll up feature?

there is no roll up feature on the remote. You can insert the key into the door and turn to lock and hold until the windows roll up. If you read your owner's manual, you will find a bounty of knowledge about your car. Crazy huh?

 

What is this "upgrade alarm" of which you speak?

 

You can buy an aftermarket module that allows for "remote up" of the windows. Check out http://www.kptechnologies.com/

 

Dealership upgraded the factory alarm to include shock sensors, an engine-kill and valet switch, as well as the honking noise when you lock the doors.

Thanks, I didn't realize the manual had information about the car. I thought it was pictures of famous Americans.

 

The dealer most likely just added a 2nd brain that is armed/disarmed off of your remote keyless entry system. It shouldn't effect any feature of the car.
