Default Rear View Camera

I just got a Boyo license plate camera and this sucker looks sick! It's probably one of the best out there. I got the VTL300. Black finish.

Its a backup camera. I got it hooked up to a monitor in the front, so everytime I put the sucker on reverse, it automatically triggers the camera. Yea, it's hard to steal the camera b/c it's screwed in from inside the bumper.

nodyce, would you mind answering a few questions?

Where did you get it from?
What others did you consider?
Why did you choose this particular one?
Thanks!

I got it from a local stereo shop dealer near bay area. Some have them and some don't but I did look up online too.

Just google "boyo vision" and there's few online sellers.

I saw this black finish and the chrome finish.

The chrome metal one is sick looking. Just gorgeous piece but I decided to go with the black one because of i have a black car and I think it looks good with it. I couldn't go wrong which one I got.

The price I paid for the camera was $199.00 and I had a friend install it for me.

I did lots of researching and shopping around for the a rear view cameras for my z which had to look nice and worked great at night time, from tiny ones to full frames, and I saw lots of working cameras set up at the stereo shops but they were all uncomparable to this one my friend showed me.

It's absolutely amazing how well it works at nights! I just love this camera.

There were some others like Crimestoppers, some generics, hitchcams, and no brand names, but they were no where near the quality of this one i got.
