I was wondering if they make black outside door handles, does anyone know or have any suggestions?

How much for the Asuka CF door handle?Is it a overlay?

Quite a few people have painted their door handles.

Although the handles look like aluminum, they are actually a hard polymer, and thus can NOT be powder coated.

If you want to paint them, remove them for the car (a few bolts plus removing some linkage), scuff them up with some fine grit sand paper, primer and spray the color you want. Follow up with some wet sanding, clear coat and some more wet sanding for an outstanding final product.

I painted mine I get more compliments on the painted look then the silver..

I'd like to shave them also, but don't want to deal with the tickets.

Has anyone tried putting old-school handles on like the chrome ones with the white button? I think that would look stupid fresh.

These are I forged wheels....19X10 up front and 19X13 in the rear

 

mine look alot better now that there gloss black. im drivin silverstone, so it matches nice. i also matched my rear bumper and middle of my nismo wing, so it all depends on wut u have on your car. it looks good if u match it w/ ur rims.

 

I believe it is illegal for the same reason Lexan is illegal. in case of emergencies when paramedics and technicians need to get into the vehicle in case of flips, etc.

 

that is weird... what if the car is mangled up pretty bad and the doors can't open up anyways... JAWS OF LIFE!!! hahaha

 

Can you post pics of your door with the black door handles? I have a Silverstone so I'm curious what a black door handle looks like.
