Default Having Clear Bra installed today....

After only drive the car for about a week i notice a few minor chip mark already in the paint. So i decided to get the Clear Bra done. At an XPEL Dealer

http://www.xpel.com/

They Use 3M Scotchgard certified Paint Protection Film and they provide a Nation Wide film Warranty backed by the XPEL licensed dealers and 3M for 5 Years.

Seems good to me, Im having the Bumper Kit, the Hood, Fender and Mirror Kit, and the Headlamp Protection Kit installed today. And should be finished by 6 or 7pm

Ill be sure to post some picture even thought my may not see it.

Yeah, I want that, but I was told the 2007 kit isn't available yet.

I'm currently getting quotes for this from installers in North Jersey. Closeups of the seams as well as normal shots would be great to see if the seams are visible.

If you could post the price you were charged it would help me determine if I should keep looking for better prices. So far I've gotten quotes from $500 to as high as $995!!!

I was quoted at 600 for the full kit. I hopefully will be able to take some shots of the seams and the car soon. Note you can see the seams as you get closer and closer. During the night it is practically unnoticeable. During the day it just depends on how hard you are looking

995 is way to high!

I paid $600 for the full treatment. Front bumper, front of the hood, the mirrors, headlights, door trim. Came to my home on a Saturday and did the work in my garage. Even did touch up a couple of dings in the paint before installing the bra.

I have had the bra on my car for a year now. There are two places where there is damage from rocks. Makes tiny holes in the plastic. (I'm the only person can see them and only then when I wash or wax the car). I just think how nasty those dings would be without the bra.

http://www.clearmask.com/ has kits for the 07's. They're running about $320 plus shipping. That's what I paid for my 06, and installed it myself.
