try using a couple of washers to space out the hood, worked for mine (not seibon, but wouldn't shut either) and of course move the latch up as much as you can, there's 3 bolts to loosen you can't miss them really.

little off the subject but, I've heard of ppl with C/F hoods HAVE to use hood pins. Being that the hood comes loose some how and opens while driving??? ....So why is that???? the latch is crap or???....Thanks, Kevin..

The latches are held in by resin, when resin is warm it can crack. I always recommend hood pins with any aftermarket hood, fiberglass or Carbon Fiber.

I see thanks...Thats had me worried for a bit...Why don't the manufacture make them a little bit safer but re-enforceing them. I dont mind hood pins but would rather not have them on my car(just cleaner look)..

They are uaully laid in the fiberglass skeleton of the wet laid carbon hoods, but fiberglass is no where near as strong as your OEM hood. The force applied to the latch is pretty high at speeds 80+mph. This is especially true with vented hoods as you may get an up draft.

I can't beleive all the bullsh!t in going back and fourth. Why not just tell her what to do!

The latch has 3 bolts that hold it. Loosen them and raise the latch all the way up and this should solve your problem.

For What Ut's Worth They Always Seem to Make the Hood Latch Bar Shorter than the OEM , I Had to Elongate The three Latch Holes to move The Latch Assembly Bolts up Far enough to Catch on the New Hood Clamp,
Works Good Now , Also I'm Not into Useing Hood Pins with a Painted VeilSide V3 Hood .. I Ran Her Up To 80 mph with no vibration or Hood issues ...

Really, you never mentioned it to me nor is it mentioned on your site or any of your for sale threads. There is nothing included with the hood that states that hood pins are recommended. Even the installed pictures that you use to promote your F/S threads do not show hood pins. How come?

Those are pictures of members cars to show fitment. I personally run my own Seibon hoods without hood pins, but I also know how to install the hoods properly (not saying you dont).
