PICS : Central 20 rear w/ blacked out tails
hey man, when you take some more pics would you have someone press on the brakes while you take the pic so we could see how well the light comes through? I would really appreciate it.
I love the rear, this is the kit I have been thinking of getting to finish off my exterior. Good job!

yea so ill post pics when i get the chance. i was just pulled over for my taillights though. said they werent bright enough. dammit! lol...any bulbs out there that are brighter? cant go to LED's though
Are they LED taillights?? If so you could get brighter LED's but how you'd fit them is beyond me. If you've got stock bulb tail light, get bright LED's to replace the bulb.
Did you get a fine or something when they pulled you up?

ive got stock tails but i cant put LED bulbs in them. when i did before it screwed my car up. the mechanic said they confused my computer so everytime my lights were on my throttle body would only open up 50%. i put the bulbs back in and my car ran perfect. wierd i know. are there brighter bulbs to buy?
Higher return voltage due to LED's using less power. Since the tails are bigger bulbs and on a critical circuit, if you put an LED in there, it will mess up return voltage and put the car in a throttle limp mode. ECU is expecting a certain voltage load and return... Figure out what you need for the LED you want to put in and make up the difference from the stock light with load resistors.
Actually you can do a fun trick and put the LED's in and mash on the throttle with the lights on. When the throttle is floored (and your only getting 25-30% of power) flip the light switch off. The light circuit will come off and the ECU won't look for it...so you will instantly come out of limp mode. I'm not sure what kind of damage it does to the electric systems but it sure makes a funny sound.
