Factory Navi in a car that did not come with it
I was thinking about putting the factory Navi system into my car that did not come stock with navi.
my whole factory stereo has been ripped out and replaced with new headunit amps and speakers.
aside from buying all the parts is there anything else i would need?
and no i would not be buying all the navi parts from nissan
i have a 2003 track.
thanks for the help.

KPierson is a smart guy and knows these cars pretty well, I would trust his judgement on this one.

The main harness needs to be changed to a Navi harness. This means you need to take everything out of the inside of the car, pull out all the wiring, and replace it with a different harness. Then, mount all the new navi stuff and put it all back together.
Good luck, but I would go aftermarket....

Yeah, you're better off buying an aftermarket nav. I've done the swap before had to splice the main harness
(not fun). Without the wiring diagrams I wouldn't have dared. Anyways took about 12 hours of labor and turned out fine. I only did it for a friend cause i wanted the challenge - never again.
