Exclamation Need everyones opinion on this one!?!?

Okay so I receive my new seibon TSII hood the other day and it looks fantastic! Thanks again Jim (CarbonLTD)!!! Anyways once I installed it I saw a problem. On the sides there is about a 1/4 to 1/2 in gap on the sides. Everything else fits perfect. So I go to investigate. What I found is that due to my AAM 1/2 plenum spacer and the way the front strut bar has to be elevated to fit over the plenum that is what is causing it to gap on the sides. So my question is do I leave the strut on and rock the gap in the sides or do I take the strut off for the flush look of the hood. Sorry no pictures yet but it is pretty straight forward. It is either gap or no gap. Thanks everyone for your help.

I wouldn't lose the strut bar by any means. Maybe consider an alternative like the one posted above.
