Wonder how that'd look blacked out, I'm thinking about doing just a regular nissan emblem blacked out bc I've got black wheels, thought it'd look mean.

Did you have it replace the front hamburger or the emblem on the trunk/hatch? Was this for a coupe or roadster and were there any holes or did it just pop off, held on by tape?

Default new emblem

I put the front one on, but due to my wing I can't put one on the rear.

I did pick up a twinturboZ emblem and left the twin off since I have a Turbonetics single turbo.

thanks, I have a blemish in the paint from when I had the front redone and had to hide it. So I cut a circle out of some real carbon fiber and stuck it to the back of the badge. I picked up a small sheet of carbon fiber from a hobby shop online. Its handy for little touches like this.

I wouldn't get too reassured just yet. I have one and haven't installed it because when you remove the OEM one, it leave 3 little bumps that are used for guides on the OEM emblems. The new Z emblem has no such guides and furthermore, the new Z emblem does NOT cover these little bumps.

In the pic that Z327 posted, he has that carbon fiber cutout under his emblem. That will cover up the bumps. Unless you're planning on doing something like this, the bumps will show.

No it won't cover the rear holes. It even says that on the Courtesy web site. Unless you have a roadster. There are no rear holes on the roadster.

I did read that on the website also.. Unfortunately it was after the emblems already came to my house.... So, I guess im ****ed! I just wonder how bad the holes will show or how bad it will actually look(or if you would even notice it) Im thinking of putting the cf emblem inserts in the gaps.. Cut them to fit this new Z emblem.. I think that will work!

I'm sending mine back. Not worth the hassle and I damn sure don't want those bumps to show.
