Default Veilside Version 2 pics

Here's the original thread:

https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-and-interior/252938-veilside-2-full-kit-ordered.html

First, thanks to my Beautiful wife for this kit and all the modifications on my car (yes she bought me all my toys )

Thanks to Darren at Intense for the great deal and customer service on the Version 2 kit. Thanks to Qualitek Body and Paint for the excellent service, and a great paint job.

My impressions:

This kit looks 10X better in person. I have had people taking pictures of my car while driving. The Z looks like an italian exotic in my opinion. Haven't had one person tell me it looks like a catfish

Anyways here are the pics and my mods:

Nismo LMGT4 18 x 8.5/9.5 245/275 40 18 Pirelli Pzero Nero
TurboXS exhaust
MD 5/16 spacer
painted engine and battery/brake covers
Veilside Version 2 full kit.

it's good that you stand by your opinion and don't let others sway your decision. i followed the original thread and i completely believe that as long as it makes you happy, who cares about what others think. your wife gets kudos for even buying you a kit like that and being supportive about it. best of luck

Ken,

Man, it looks pretty clean! I admittedly was scrrrd when I opened this thread, as it's a risky kit. But man, it's actually cool. Big props, as philude alluded (I'm a rhyme slayer ) to. Wifey likes it, you like it, f the haters!

Thanks Darren. I have to admit, I was a little scared when I went to pick her up from the bodyshop. I wish I had a good profile shot, but that front looks sharp from the side

I thought about getting the version 2 wing, but I think it looks fine without it. I guess I'll decide once I have money again

i actually like it. not so much the front, but loving the rear and sides. and it turned out great. the back "diffuser" would've looked sexy in black.

Ken,

NP man. I wonder how you pulled it off actually. Maybe it's because the car is silver, and so are the wheels? It allows everything to gel together, minimizing the "catfish" effect of the front bumper? Dunno. A Blitz wing would be a nice addition (or the V2), and maybe a slight drop (Tein H-Tech's perhaps?). Anywayz, yeah, you pulled it off.

Oh man that looks really good.
With the silver, it's almost like a demo car.

I think it looks good with no wing, but it would look great with a Version 2 wing also.

Thank You.

I agree with everyone above it looks pretty good and would look better with a drop. maybe get a stock spoiler too the rear looks a little empty. imo

Everytime I see that front bumper, all I can think of is a catfish.

Matt,

You must have a fish fetish Maybe all of the ocean air in L.A., mixed with smog and the constant humming of bullets that causes that?

Thanks for the comments guys (even the catfish ones). The spoiler I'm looking at is the JP Vizage or version 2. Not interested in lowering my car right now.
