Nismo-style delrin shift ****
A friend of mine does small scale manufacturing of different custom gadgets for cars and such. Recently he started making shift *****, primarily for toyotas, I asked him if he can conjure up something along the lines of nismo *****, but made of delrin (plastic/resin compound used all over the place). I did not want to have a scorching metal ****, so was really looking forward to this one. Long story short - I'm very impressed.
Post up if you'd like to have these things made for you - they will be much cheaper than Nismo and safer for your hands
He does several different styles and is open to custom orders.
I don't want to violate any "advertizing" plicies, so I'll keep his contact info out of this thread for now. He does it more for fun, and does not make millions on his little goodies, but I'm sure he'll be happy to have some Z customers.

It's pretty hard solid plastic - not wrapped in anything, the collar is a separate piece that I asked him to add to his standard "nismo" style ****.
I'm sure he can make it shorter and more rounded.
Will PM his info.

Mine has a weighted metal core inside, and this can be an option if he can get several orders to justify purchase of a brass rod. Like I said - he's doing it on relatively small scale, so if we can get him rolling, he'll be able to get them out for about $60 with a brass core.

Ok, I'll post the contact info here.
Mods, if it's violating any policies - let me know, and I'll see what I can do about making it official before nuking the thread

There is an email link on the page - let the guy know directly what kind you want, weighted or not and please mention that it's for 350Z - the thread is different from toyotas (that's what he does mostly now).
