i currently have the aerosync bumper running on 20 inch iforged wheels and my wheels are eating my fender shields to shreds. what happens is, the fender shields keep popping out from behind the bumper exposing them to my wheels which in turn rubs until the shields disentegrate. i was informed by a fellow z enthusiast in my area that i would need to purchase the 06 fender shields so that it would properly fit. i have an 04.....does this sound familiar to anyone? here is a pic to illustrate my point:

#3 is the fender shield that is being eaten away by my wheel.

I know exactly what you mean. I have the origin front bumper and it's doing the same thing on the driver's side. I put a little metal clip (maybe a half inch or so) on the bumper to prevent the shield from popping out. I want a better fix, but don't know what that might be. Let me know if you find something better.

I thought the Aerosync was basically the same as stock and the liners fit fine? I know the V2 will need the 06 liners to line up perfectly. Didn't know there were any issues with the Aerosync.

I had an aerosync on my car 06 and it does the same thing. And just by changing the inner fender to newer ones will not help. Ur best bet is to make some type of clip to secure it into place

i made some custom clips. It also holds up the front bumper so it won't sag over time and stress out the spot where those bolts bolt up the bumper. You can't see the brackets which is why i love it.
