Corbeau install, seat belt clip?
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what they did
to re-install the stock seat belt clip? I am installing a Corbeau FX1 Pro but I am doing a custom mount to free up some more headroom. I guess you could either bolt it to the side of the console or bolt it to the new seat...
Any input from peoples experiences would be helpful.
THanks...

since u are doing a custom mount it makes things a little more complicated. the regular corbeau seat mounts have a mount on the side to attach the seat belt. it's basically a piece of metal on the side that goes up and has a hole on the top to attach the seatbelt. it's kinda hard to decribe. here's a pic of mine. the circle is that piece of metal that sticks up from the mount with the hole that attaches the seat belt. sorry, i couldn't find a better picture

You're gonna have to fabricate a piece of metal to the seat mount. you gotta make sure it's a strong weld too...I wouldn't recommend attaching it to the plastic console or the seat itself cause if u get into an accident the belt mount would rip out of place. hope this helps.

Thanks for the info ^^, I'm gonna have to figure something out...I'm mounting the slider directly to the seat to the floorboard so a welded piece from the floorboard might be the best route....
