does anyone have a good lead for fasteners to attach/glue to the inside of a body work to attach a mesh grill?
i was thinking of Gooping some binder clips

i can't find any bendable attachment solutions.

We use Methacrylate to bond mesh grills to our composite parts. Methacralyte is designed to fuse with ABS, acrylics, nylon, PVC, PPO, pollysulfone, steel, aluminum, copper, fiberglass, and wood.
Another alternative is to just use silicon. Methacrylate will bond faster, hold better, but is much more permanent.
Hope that helps.

Forgot to add that the fast cure type epoxy you can buy at your local hardware store should work as well. However, epoxy and polyester resins are not guaranteed to bond.
Whatever you choose to use, make sure the area to be bonded are scuffed with 80 grit sand paper on the back and all the dust blown off before gluing.

Cheston,
Weren't you the one that suggested to another member to use some fiberglass resin to attach parts of metal paperclips to the insides of bumpers to allow you to use mesh?

yes. ... but that was after i saw paperclips fail after removal of the grill item then the paper clip sorta snapped off.. i found some 'heavy duty' paper clips here at work that are a little thicker so i might try if i cant find anything else.
what i'm trying to find are these little aluminum pieces with a thick base and a tab that's bendable
