Carbon Fiber side emblems?

I just purchased a set of these

Before I do anything stupid, my question is do I pry out the original piece of the emblem and place the new one inside or do I stick these on top?

those you just stick right on top of your existing ones

I have those, they are pretty good quality and held up well so far

$18.95 + $5.00 shipping? I believe I've seen them going for $9.00 + $3.00 shipping on ebay. But who knows, the quality might be different.
