repaint chrome silver --> liquid aluminum (exterior panel only)
Despite my best effort to preserve my 2003 Chrome Silver's paint, it is starting to look like A$$. I had planned on getting a bodykit and doing a complete repaint.
If I repainted only the exterior to liquid aluminum (2004 year special color), would it looks weird? (remaining chrome silver paint in door jams, engine bay...etc). Both are silver-shade paints and I had thought they look similar (except liquiud aluminum is more reflective).

I'm on the same boat as you, and would like to know also

wouldnt really b visble, but u'd definately notice and eventually b unsatisfied w/ it, hence being ur caar and all. i say if ur going through all the trouble of repainting ur entire car, y not just go the extra mile and do the jams. nuthin much more than sum extra taping off 2 do.
