Default Blitz spoiler

Awhile ago I bought a Blitz spoiler.
Now I am getting ready to install it.
The spoiler already comes with the double sided tape already on it.
My plans are to just use the double sided tape it came with to mount it, instead of bolting it on.
Anyone else with this spoiler, that bolted it on instead of using the double sided tape?

^I was thinking the same, but why didn't they make the spoiler with areas for the bolts to go on?
Probably need to get a custom bracket or something.

Heck, just wait for him to park then you can peel off the spoiler.

You don't need to bolt it on. I used double sided tape but I added more to it than what is provided.

I bought 3M double sided tape, and it works great. I can't even move the damn wing its so stiff. It won't fly or even move on the highway don't worry.

Make sure the area is very very clean and dry. Use only 3M double sided tape and put pressure on the wing for it to stick well. Once its on there, its very very difficult to remove so make sure its aligned.

Thanks for the advice!
I had a feeling that the double sided tape should work just fine or else Blitz would have made it a bolt on design.
Thanks again!

test fit the spoiler and mark with a non permanent marker where the tips of the spoiler touch on the hatch. should make it much easier to get a good first time fit.

I would still bolt it on to slow somebody from stealing it. Local guy here got his Stillen wing stolen that way.

You live in texas, invest in a 45. It'll make your spoiler much stronger.

Nexx:
Thanks for the tips!

JDMFairladyZ33:
I'm not worried about it being stolen since, it's not daily driven and only taken out on the weekends to carshows and occassional cruises.

Cool, looks like I have completely eliminated any doubts I had.

Hey guys
I know this thread is dead.
Regardless, I want to get a spoiler on my car, and I think I like the Blitz the most.
I would really appreciate it if some of you would post some pics, cause I've searched, but havent really found some good shots from different angles.
Also, two more dumb q's. Where did you buy it from, and does it come painted, or is that part left to you?
Thanks

His spoiler is an authentic blitz spoiler. To my knowledge, a replica isn't even available.
