Default Painted Headlights

So, this weekend I opened up my headlights and painted them body colour (plum brandy). Well, things went great opening them up. 250 for 7 minutes. Things went for **** after I had painted them and closed them up again. The paint colour is not even close to matching. I have been trying to find someplace to get paint from but having horrible luck. I dropped my intake off for custom paint and inquired about colour matching parts under hood but was told the tint alone was $800.00/gal.
Guess thats all I got to say about that.

you could try towerpaint.com and give them the factory paint code...

but if youre color matching its best to get it prof painted to ensure its nearly matched....mrzipps is for the most part the forums premier headlight painter...

imo not to be mean or anything...bad idea to try and colormatch on youro own
