Default Just got in from the customs office...

... I was picking my Top Secret CF front diffuser up!

After a few months wait and lots of extra expenses on a wood box and extra freight (from the US to Costa Rica), here it is and it looks great... it is whole, for starters! And looks really good. I am thinking about installing it tonight, but it has been a long day already!

Anyway, thanks a lot to Bulletproof Automotive for the great service and for the cool product... will certainly do biz again!

C.

PS. Photos coming soon...

Ok... it is now on the car, but no camera near...

The fitment was extremely good but not perfect (it has to do a bit with the CF center garnish I have installed. Even so, the gap is like 3mm on the widest point and then it fits like a glove... I might do some Dremelling on the center garnish to get it perfect.

Photos as soon as I get a camera!!

Ahhh, you are running an Evo R cf center piece, i was thinking that it was a Varis lip.

It is actually a JDM Nissan CF center piece... but same issue anyway , gets slightly in the way of the perfect fitment... but I will fix that this weekend, hopefully.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks for the appreciation guys! Now I need a diffuser that matches the HKS exhaust... it is a shame that the TS does not fit!!!

Do you know of any other that will? I would even look into changing the rear bumper for something on that note!!

Thanks again!

I don't know if it'll fit with the HKS exhaust or not but, check out Varis' universal diffuser with their Z specific vortex generators for a look similar to the TS. Check it out the IF or BY with it on this link: https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-nissan-350z/258983-check-out-these-jdms-for-sale-here.html

Thanks for the pointer 35TH... that IF (it seems that there is some disagreement about the color... lol) looks nice to me... I looks like a combination of hypercannards, heat-shields and the diffuser itself... totally feeling it!

Now, does anyone know what vendor carries these three items? I checked the Bulletproof site but it seems that they have only the shields???

fwiw, I think the varis universal looks like crap, and will probably need to be cut like it is on the Suby they show. the side vortex generators are cool though.

what doesn't fit about the TopSecret peice? is it something you could cut out and not look bad or the entire mounting will not work.

I say ditch the HKS and get a Amuse or nismo exhuast

I'm sure that Bulletproof can get it all even if it's not on their sight. The VarisUSA.com sight, which just recently began directing you to Bulletproof's sight, used to show it all. I'd also check with Darren from Intense. Another option: http://www.takakaira.com/aerokits/ae...menu.asp?cat=4

Nitrouz got a TS piece and it did not fit at all... too narrow between the bumper and the diffuser for the tips! It seems that cutting it was not an option, as the whole thing would get flimsy as hell...

I wish I had someone in my country to have a custom-made work, but that does not seem to be happening anytime soon!

I am seriously thinking that the Varis vortex generators (or hypercannards or whatever they call them ) plus the exhaust shields might do a nice enough combination... I will have to think about it a little bit more.
