I picked up a JDM antennae and am very happy with it. Looks and fits great, obviously, and the reception is decent as well.
I think I paid just over $20, including shipping.

No, you only have an answer of how many people on this forum bought that particular antenna. You have no answer as to which one performs better.
Please use some brain power before you post.

I've owned the s2k and the Honda Element antenna, they both have good reception. IMO the Element antenna fits better.

Short and black and fits the base perfectly. I would guess it is about 6 inches long, but I would have to check to be sure.

Yes, this is why I chose the S2K since the rubber parts mesh perfectly and looks the most natural. I also have one of those little aluminum non-functional ones and it doesn't mate as good as the S2K to the post.

I heard the Perrin works the best and has the same reception rating as stock. I order a different one tho' for like $13 shipped. This is a really cheap mod either way. Maybe I'll try the Perrin if this one doesn't work that well.

I'm not gonna put together a research team of scientists in a lab somewhere comparing antennas. I don't expect the results to be definitive by any means, but if the majority of the people prefer one over the other, that’s good enough for me. (Especially since it's just a $20 part.)
Did you miss that on the last page?

I cut my stock one down -- cost $0 and I've noticed no difference in reception. There's a thread on here with the DIY.

None of the above.

The 2000 antenna fits like crap at the base and looks like it belongs on a tard talkie. The Honda Eliment antenna fits perfect and the reception is as good as the stock eye sore.

Yeah, I came up with the title of the thread. Then during the course of the thread I shifted the questions towards a more general consensus, because that seemed better suited for this thread.

See, that’s how forums/conversations usually work. This is a forum… like I said before, I never expected anything conclusive regarding replacement antennas. You on the other hand contributed nothing… so you either don’t understand how forums/conversations work, or you’re a ****ing retard. So, either give an opinion on an antenna, or STFU. (Nitpicking over words, or phrasing contributes nothing, and is a waste of time.)
