Default Antenna Poll... which WORKS the best?

I've searched all over, and it's either a S2k antenna, or a Perrin, with the random IS300 antenna thrown in the mix. But which one WORKS the best (reception wise)?

If you're gonna get the Perrin, get the 4". The Perrin 2" does NOT get any reception.

I don't expect everyone to have had both...

It's a poll, if 90 people voted for the S2k, and 10 voted for the Perrin I have my answer.

Again.. keep in mind that the Perrin has 2" and 4" to choose from.

Do you have the 4" Perrin? (Otherwise what antenna do you have?)

I see what Fluid is saying even though there was no need to be so harsh. If 90 people vote for the s2k and 10 for the perrin that doesn't necessarily mean its better; it means that 90 people have the s2k and think it works good enough and 10 people have the perrin and think it works good enough. It's doubtful that any of those 100 people had both and can say which "works better".

I am willing to be this is exactly what the result of your poll will be since the s2k is the most popular (but not necessarily the best).

Heh... like I said, it's just a poll.

I'm not gonna put together a research team of scientists in a lab somewhere comparing antennas. I don't expect the results to be definitive by any means, but if the majority of the people prefer one over the other, that’s good enough for me. (Especially since it's just a $20 part.)

Then buy one of each and compare. Return the ones you're not happy with.
