Why just overlays? Can we get a piece thick enough to replace the silver pieces?

i am not doing the z emblem in the middle, im just gonna try to get those 2 on the sides right now. i am trying overlays because it would be much much harder to make full replacement pieces. i would have to figure out a way to attach them in the back. with overlays just some 3m tape and your good to go.
oh and as for the price i am not yet sure, i havent even attempted this yet, i am just trying to see if i had enough interest to even bother doing it...and it looks like i definitely do.

i actually found someone on here that has a set of the silver pieces. he is mailing them out tomorow. so when i get them i am going to start right in on them and see what i can do. i just didnt wanna rip into my steering wheel if i didnt have to. i will try as fast as i can but i am doing this while i am working on stuff for other people too. so basically i will not be sleeping for the next few weeks!

Can you make these in a non-reflective finish? Like a satin or near-flat finish? The aluminum has really bad glare from the sun at some angles. If these are clear-coated, then they will not be much better in that respect.

no they will be clearcoated just like all my other stuff. honestly they would like horribly if done in a flat finish and not cleared. they glare really shouldnt be too bad either, my center console and door panels are cf and they dont have a glare.
