as for an update...i have a few sets that are done and need to be cleaned up and cleared and basically just finished up. the first sets that i did are just the ones without the cutouts for now. it was much easier to make them without the cutouts. i will however definitely be making them with cutouts very soon. i'll post some pics in a few...

 

heres a few of some...one pair is not trimmed yet and the other is...u can see how they cover the entire silver piece. they wrap underneath unlike the ones from the original picture in the thread. oh and one set has scratches because i started a little sanding on them. when done they will be smooth and finished with a clearcoat.

why cant we just buy them. (not to complain)

but i dont get why the seller will make a thread (when the product isnt ready) and just ask how many people want it haha. it would be a lot easier for buyers to not forget about the thread

ive been workin on them here and there....im busy with doing the wrapping stuff. so i dont work on these too much. i have a few sets made but without the cutouts...its a pain in the @ss getting them perfect, but the couple i got are looking ok...im working more on wrapping stuff rather making these.

 

Let me know bro. I'm looking for one with cutout. The clearcoat on the steering wheel is starting to come off somehow. I'm really looking for some CF overlays to cover that imperfection up.

 

Yep, that is the reason I am looking into these. my steering wheels clearcoat is coming off on my pieces as well ><

 

im trying to get them done but its really a pain to get the cutouts in the perfect spot so u cant see any silver behind them...trust me, im trying!!

 

where are you getting the silver pieces from anyway? i looked around on trademotion and it seems the steering wheels come as a full assembly and not in pieces
