Is there a way to remove the map lamp/ sunglass holder assembly without removing the whole headliner?

It just pops out (carefully). See attached diagram...

 

So I have gained access to under the headliner, however I can't find the extra plug!

 

yeah I found out the hard way that its attach to the head liner. you have 4 point that goes thru a hold in the head liner. if I reamember correctly. there is no clean way to take it off even if you remove the hear liner. I just yank it off. and the other clips still holds it up just fine.
