anything above 5k is rice. that blue-ish lighting is just tacky IMO. it's what they put on ghetto scion's and hondas.
on the other hand, the blue cut-off line looks classy. just check out all the new luxury cars and you'll see what im talking about

uhhh you havent seen philips 6000k ultinons then.... they may not be yellowish but theyre not dim whatsoever. Still the best mod ive done cosmetic wise. I love seeing them on the road, and my friends 8000's look great. They look brighter than you would think. He has the same size projector as the 06+. Ive seen 8000k on smaller projectors and they put out crap.

honestly unless youve seen first person pics arent too great. 10k are pretty dark and blue.... 8000k could really pass for oem..... as a good oem i mean, maybe not the BEST output but they looked nice and white with blue in them and plenty of usable light. 10k is another world, 8k i could be like oh theyre oem sometimes, but 10k is when you go holy **** those are blue. Anyway i might pick up 12k's just for ***** and giggles, swap em in every once in a while to draw some attention, theyre like 90 bucks. When you see 14k on the road your just like holy ****.... and theyre still bright as hell. These are hid's were talking about not colored glass bulbs. 12k are a ridiculous purple, 14 are violet.... not my taste, be fun to put them in for a night once in a while.

Nice work Ivory!!! You have a PM...I always loved the HID's in my 03 S2000...I was really disappointed in the cut-off on my 07, but now I can have the nice, crisp cut-off that I used to..I always loved the color/flicker of certain HID's on certain cars...Good job

Uh.... 25% of a lot of lumens.... ok and your still a lot brighter than oem... i dont understand why you defend oem as if its your mother im talking about. I live in a very rural area, and trust me my ultinons light up the road very nicely. The reflection i get off of cars and signs is very satisfying. I see people immediately look at my car from inside stores when i turn my lights on, they dont look like bright halogens.

The thing that gets me is .... the blue cut off looks classy? that means when you see that car a mile down the road the lights look like a nice blue.... then when you get closer theyre oem yellowish white, like a regular hid... so if i have that look of the car down the road, all the time..... im ricerish? yea ok.... makes a lot of sense.

I personally like the flicker effect that the cutoff gives...I like having the brightest light output possible, and have the nice flicker effect from a distance, not color all the time...It's like you can tell who has the real HID's and who has the cheap kits you find on ebay...JMO of coarse
