Default Rain & Nose Mask Question

I searched all forums and I couldn't find the answer to my question.

Anyone who has the nose mask on their car:

Have you had a problem with the paint clouding up under the mask if it got caught in the rain?

Not exactly sure what you mean but I have a Colgan bra and have ad the bra on when it rained and found no ill effects on the paint. The only thing I noticed was when I removed the bra, I could tell where the bra once sat based on how water sheeted off the hoof (probably had something to do with the wax being rubbed underneath the bra). I've had the car since December and have been caught in several storms without any probelms. Hope this helps...

Its a good idea to take the bra off after it gets wet to let it dry or it will cloud your paint. I have not had it happen but I have seen cars where it has.

I have had the paint cloud on a different car I owned. I take the bra off the Z prior to days of rain. Though there are only 15 or so here I can keep the bra on most of the time. I have heard that the clouding goes away if you leave the car in the sun. I wouldn't trust this. Your best bet is not to take chances.

there is the answer.

if it gets wet or is going to rain, GET IT OFF, otherwise it will cloud the paint.
