Default ebay tint

Hey guys, what do you all think about ebay window tint kits. i bought the tailight ones and they were fine, but how about the window ones. they claim to be precut and perfect fiinish, and all you do is apply them with a squeege. anyone have any experience with them, or care to chime in? i mean, for 50 bucks shipped its a deal!

For 50 bucks you could go to an autoparts store and buy some tint and probably do 3-4 Z's side windows. I would never buy tint off of ebay, but then again I've been tinting for a number of years. Your money, your choice.

There is a thread on that every month. Don't buy the tint. You WILL get what you pay for. And that "what" in this case is purple tint after a year or so, bubbles, peel-off, etc.etc.

Go to a reputable shop (ask your local members for recommendations) and have a professional do it using their high-quality films, or don't do it at all. Simple.

Or just buy some cheap **** and re-do it yourself every year or so. That way when you get pulled over for illegal tint, you really have no problem ripping it off and then putting it back on a few weeks later. But like usmanasif said, if you don't have any previous background in tinting, just get it done at a shop.
