On my Sparco's I had the same issue. I took the same hole that was predrilled (the one you would use for stock belts) and inserted the eyenut threw there and went out and bought a lock washer and a good size nut to tighten down to desired torque, with thread locker also. The hole was perfect size. I really had to force it in there. So it wasn't loose even before I had tighten it down. I feel this works just as good and should have to worry about any saftey standers.
I hope this can work for you. I don't know how the Bride seats are? But sounds close to the same.

Thanks, I just ghetto rigged it and it worked fine. I basically bought some swivel chain links and a quick snap loop, put the one of the leg bolts for the seat through it and just used the quick snap loop to mount the belt. Worked fine.
