anyone updated door panels yet? i know the doors are the same so they should fit on the door but not sure if the electricals are the same or not..any input on this?

Not that I can be sure from his post, but I THINK he's asking if anyone with 03-05 panels have upgraded to new 06-08 panels (didn't even know their was a difference).

 

as far as i know there is not a difference except having cup holders. i may be wrong

 

Cupholders is about it...

 

armrests are diff and the lil padded insert which older ones dont have.

 

i put 06 ones in my 05. the only thing that doesnt work is the light in the cup holder. we dont have a clip for it but im sure we can wire it


also the clips some dont align perfectly!

 

the materials are different as well.

 

The insides are identical. It'll fit.

i would like to do this because i'm always haveing to clean my 04 door panels.....you know..those million little bumps on the plastic....they get dirty and kinda tough to clean...

but for some reason door panels are expensive....hummmm

ok....i just got a set of 06 panels will go on my 05 project car im working on..will let everyone know how they fit

Why the hell would you need MORE cup holders?! 3 Is more than enough for me.

 

No need to post. I've changed 06 to 03 and it fits perfectly.

3 is more than enough for me, I guess some people just want to be able to fit a 6 pack in their car for those..um..long drives?

 

what about the switches, did they just plug in or did you need to cut and swich the plugs as well?

 

They just plug right in.
