Anodizing.

Does anyone know if a piece has been anodized already can it be anodized again or would it have to be stripped down in some way?

It has to be stripped, but they do that during the prep process anyways by soaking in an alkaline(acid?) solution to remove the oxidation that occurs from air exposure
