Default Need help sticking something to inside plastic trim

Anyone have any success taping something to the inside plastic trim? Specifically, I'm trying to attach a small lightweight plastic box to the plastic trim near the rear speakers. It will be directly to the left of the passenger side rear speaker. I bought 2 types of 3m double sided tape and after cleaning with alcohol it is barely holding (it'll hold but the slightest tug on it pulls it off).

Anyone have any ideas for something that'll work?

The box doesn't even weight a pound.

I'm having a hard time doing the same thing. I also tried 3m tapes, with no luck. Free bump

I forgot to mention two requirements: it is able to come off and it doesn't screw with the interior too badly.

I remember when I bought my XM Radio vehicle mount kit, it came with an extra piece of 2-sided tape in case you had to relocate the mount. Maybe somebody here still has that extra piece kicking around. I would offer ya mine but had to use it.

Silicone adhesive. It'll hold well, peel off when you need it to and shouldn't leave any marks afterward.

Try 3M Automotive Adhesion Promoter part #06396 it is designed for plastic trim attachment with 3m Acrylic foam tapes.
