headlight lens - what type of plastic?

Default headlight lens - what type of plastic?

as the title states, what kind of plastic does the conventional headlight use? acrylic? carbonate?

reason being, i want to make one off headlights in this fashion:

The headlights that our cars use is made out of lexan. I don't know about other cars.

ah.. damn. so it is carbonate plastic. those things are a ***** to drill into. :|
