man oh man. i figured going cf like that would be nice but never imagined just
how good it would look until seeing the progress. definitely on point Mike.

now if those damn fenders would just come in. i'm hoping you can have it up
before friday's chick-fil-a meet. then maybe you slip me the keys and i walk
away quietly.

Well.. no fenders .. I hope they get here before the long weekend.

These holes need some Mesh!

That should do it

This one is going to be a bit more difficult

Little cut, little bend.

Ta-da!

OK.. so.. the silver is just too 'bright' for my taste... so I whip out the spray can
of silverstone.. yea.. thats right.. WV2 in a can Love my local Autoparts store..
they can mix and can ANY color

Getting there...

and here is a bonus sneak peak....

I'll epoxy the mesh onto the bumper tomorrow, or friday.

Well.. I'm not happy.. Got off the phone with the shipper for my Fenders.. Set to deliver on the 30th of May... I thought that they would be here before the long weekend so I would have plenty of time to work on the car.

I may not make my next event on June 2... I'll def. have to pull some all nighters, and then go into the office the next day. Maybe Pag (one of my sponsors...competitiongrafix.com) to come up to my house with the graphics and apply them. (same ones as the old fenders)

Basically have to mount and align the fenders... then I can mount and align the hood.. then mount bumper.. reinstall the fender liners, etc, etc, etc...

.. all in less than 48 hours before the car has to be at an event.
to much ish!

Mother fawq! grrrr... < / end vent >

Looking pretty good Mike! Sorry about the fenders though, I know we were working with a pretty tough time table, hopefully everything all works out.

Thanks Andy.. just super stressed. Trying to do everything I can so when the fenders get here I can rock it out.

I like the curved ones.. but.. I think that the bumper is angular enough to pull it off.

ha.. well .. you can see for yourself.

Just laid it up to check initial fitment. and.. well. I really wanted to see what it would look like!

Andy.. after laying up the bumper and attaching it with clips .. it looks like there is no need to cut the front crash bar.
