Default Question for those with a clear bra

I had mine done a couple weeks a go and I am not totally happy with the outcome. I would say there are at least 10 areas where there are little like metal clippings and or dirt. There are also maybe 3-5 bubbles and and on the drivers side there is a separation line on the lower bumper cover.

My question is to those that have had theirs done. Did your car turn out with any of these problems? How many problems is enough to take it back? I talked to the guy and he said to wash it and that it would look better after it sets. He also said there is no perfect job?

How many flaws do you guys have in your clear bras? And what would be considered acceptable?

Mine came with a clear bra (front bumper only) from the dealer (long story). After the first week of having the car, I noticed the bra coming up on the lower inside corners next to the headlights on both sides. Took it back to the place that installed it for the dealer and they replaced the whole bra. Two weeks later, the same thing started to happen again, so I just removed it all together. Since it came with the car, I'm not out any money, and since time is money, I don't really have the time to be taking this thing back every two weeks to get another one put on. I've already noticed a rock chip in the bumper since I removed it, but what are you gonna do?

I did however notice that were particles of dust/dirt in a couple of locations before I removed it....I think this is pretty much unavoidable, but I didn't have any bubbles...it was a smooth install.

I had mine done a few days ago. Noticed the same thing. There are a few areas with small particles under the bra and a couple of creases. I think it's unavoidable. Bottom line is that is not visible except from up close. Also it beats have small chips instead. If it fits good and you can't see it from a foot or two away I'd call it good.

I had pretty much every kind of piece you can think of put on my car. I am VERY picky and I was fortunate to be working with an installer who is a perfectionist. All I have is one tiny fiber on the whole car! There may be no such thing as a perfect installation, but it seems as if yours could be better.

Default No problem

I called several places before I decided upon this place. I paid $400 for the front hood and bumper. On the hood it goes up about 12 inches. I also got the flat section of the mirrors. I am still waitng to have the lights done. When I took the car in the guy said the light covers were on back order but I know the price will be $75. I would guess $475 is average for the front of the Z.
