Blacked out my headlights today! no 56k!
Man It was a pain. I followed the intructions I found on one of the 350Z sites and it went ok. Very Tedious! The instructions were very good, but I'd like to add a step: when sealing the headlights back (after having baked them at 250 for about 6 min) have some pliers on hand to squish the lens back on. I think there is a bit of a residue on the inside of the lens due to the wet cardboard (that you set the assembly on inside the oven) creating water vapor. And the masking tape left some tacky goo on the reflective surfaces. Its hard to see, but it'll probably bug me just cause I know its there. If any one wants to do this mod, and has any ?s, just shoot me a PM and ill try to answer them. And If you have the means, Have It done by a professional, I think MR. Zipps does it, That would have been much easier!
