I think the bulge looks better than the "slits". especially now after I got one. I'm the only Z in my area with a bulge in his pants .
Just don't do it if you're trying to poser-out.

I wasn't really a fan of it, but now that I have one, I am used to it, and the older hoods look strange to me now.

I really want the 07 hood for my 06. I just love how it looks and how it is designed off of the old 280Z

It was one of the things that almost kept me from upgrading from an '05 to an '07, but the engine won me over. And now since I have the '07 I actually love the hump. I saw a Z come up behind me with the old hood and it looks like it is missing something. I don't know what changed my mind but now I prefer it. But I would not get it for an aftermarket hood. For the money you could get something more unique and you would kind of look like a poser. no offense.

I had trouble deciding between the 06 and 07, but since the 07 hood was attached to the newer car, it won out by default Now I see it and think it looks a lot better.

I used to not like the 07 hood, now I really do! It gives the car a more muscular look...it looks badass IMO

I have 07. Engine won me over. I don't like the hood. Even now, I just can't get use to it. From a distance, side view, bump/hump sticks out like a sore thumb. I'm going aftermarket as soon as they are available. I will sell you mine if you want.

If you can get a good deal on one then i say do it. I wouldnt dish out 500+ for a stock hood though. If your gonna spend that much money i would get a carbon fiber hood or something. See if you can get a trade + some cash for one.
