Almost no LED 194 will be as robust as an incandescent bulb, unfortunately. These LEDs will fail more frequently because of the headlamp heat...not too bad though, I've got them and just deal with it.

Would these LED's last ok in cars with the Halogen headlights or will it still be too hot? I don't want to always be changing them. I am upgrading my lights to superlumitations Super white (halogen bulbs) too.

Thanks.

Well from what I know halogen bulbs are better around heat than LEDs. Bulbs die all the time and I don't really think there's anything you can do about it. But, the LEDs are still going in this weekend and I'll take a bunch of before and after pics at daytime and night time so you guys can see what they look like. I just hope it doesn't turn out ricer because I really don't feel like taking them back out. I do think that once the HIDs are on they will blend in pretty well. But we'll see..

EDIT* I drive a 05 enthusiast with HIDs on the lows. And I'm going to be replacing the stock HIDs with a 6000k hid bulb once I buy them. So for now I can show you before and after with halogen v blue led 194s and the clearcorners with LEDs with stock HIDs

Forgot to mention, after I put my test piptes in saturday I'm going to use my friends HD camera he uses for skateboarding to record what the HKS exhaust sounds like with resonated test pipes. I know there is a forum asking people to post their vids of their exhausts but all the quality of the videos blow. So I'll put up a link of what it sounds like with a nice camera. I might even try using my recording software for instruments to capture the sound.

I remember wanting to do this to my headlights but I wanted to be sure if it was okay to do it, so I e-mailed some makers of LED bulbs a couple of months ago and almost all of them said that they didn't suggest doing it because of the High Temps the HID in our headlights put out will actually make the LEDs faulty, which is probably the reason why Zigggy's LED poop'd out after a year.

Yeah I'm sure the heat in there hurts the bulb. But if you go to the link Ziggy suggested there are LEDs in there with a certain special heat reflecting ability or something? I don't remember exactly what it is but if you go thru all the types of 194s on the site there is one that mentions heat disbursement.

Talking Buying Modification Parts

I need help. I know NOTHING about modifying Zs, but the love of my life is all about his. What is a good site to buy a gift certificate for him so he can buy what he needs to modify his baby? Thank you so much!
