Weber sports front, Ings+1 E-type Rear (it's a start)
Just sharing some pics.
My Z has been under the knife since last July and I finally got to see the front and rear bumpers go on today. (Don't ask why it took so long).
Front is the Weber Sports Carbon Fiber Front Bumper.
Rear is the Ings+1 E-type Rear Bumper.
Also new to the car are Sarona vented front fenders and B-Magic Carbon Fiber doors. (That's why the car is so many freakin colors).
When finished, it will be my old paint scheme - black top and orange bottom.
I'm toying with the idea of ripping apart the rear fenders and cutting some vents in them. Anybody got some pics of vented rear fenders?

I'd be soooooooooooo pissed if my car was in the shop for nearly a year for bodywork.
I hope you have a non-stock exhaust and wheels to go with it....

OP: Nice lookin' so far. In the last two pics (the rear shots) is the hatch closed fully? I have the authentic Ings+1 N-spec rear and I notice the gap between the hatch and the bumper is nearly twice as large as oem. Wondering if its like that for all Ings rears of if something is wrong with mine.
Also, when do you expect to get the car back?
Holy hell that kit is over the top. As posted above, I hope he's got some FI to back it up.
The front looks really interesting (definitely GTRish), I'm looking forward to seeing it painted.

Whats the name of this body shop? It took them almost a year to even finish your car half way? Man, that bodyshop must suck big time.I would take your car to somewhere else if i were you just to save you some more headache. Not really feeling the rear bumper, but the front is very interesting indeed.
I luvz the Weber kit. Not so much feeling that rear without the longnose front but I bet it will look stellar when done. What in gods name has kept it in the shop for a year? I don't see any widebody and surely fitment on those parts isn't that bad.
Didn't I say don't ask about the shop.
It's too long to explain, but I've got certain "allowances" since it's taken so long.
As for the comments:
-GTR, EVO-X, hell, even Volkswagen is using this front. However to my knowlege this bumper made it to market before all the others...so all those other cars are copies.
-As for not liking the rear - it's E-type which means it lenthens the car and is made to be partnered with the Longnose front. Therefore since it is rather extreme, some will like it, and other's will hate it. I love it, but I hate the longnose front (hence why I got the Weber sports).
-"Finished pics" will be ready when the car is....maybe 2009 or so. (That was a joke....I hope.)
-As for wheels, I'm looking at Volk TE37 in black: 19x9.5 Front, 19x10.5 rear, 265/35 front tires, 305/30 rear tires. However they are not bought yet, and if I can find something better before the car is ready, I'll hop all over it.
-As for exhaust: That will stay stock for a bit. I have some interesting plans for that, but they are not budgeted for this year. End result will have no pipes coming out of the back of the car at all (I'll custom fab a diffuser to fill the space).
-As for FI...I don't know what to say to that one. Um...yes I want to go FI. But...um...no I don't have the money right now. So, if I continue to be able to pay the bills and have money left over, one day I WILL go FI. But, currently...no I do not foresee being in a situatin that I can afford to go FI in the next few years. Sorry if that dissapoints anyone, but if it does, you can feel free to email me donations.

-To my knowlege the rear hatch is closed in the pics. I didn't notice that the gap was any larger than with the OEM bumper, but I won't be able to tell for sure until I get the car back.
-As for fitment of parts, since I have aftermarket doors, front fenders, side skirts, hood, and front bumper....nothing fit quite right. The bodyshop spent a lot of time custom fabricating brackets and reinforcements so everything fits tight.

For me, its not the shops fault. I have my car in the shop this long because I keep changing my mind on the kit. It took me 3 months to get the authentic Ings rear. This was after I went through a few other bumpers.
Plus, I have other cars and a motorcycle so I'm not really hurt on transport.
