If i remove the factory rear tire "mud flap" like pieces will i tear up the paint behind them or will it be fine. I drive hard and have 285's in the rear. I just think it looks better without them with wide tires.

 

I removed mine and it didn't tear up the paint but, you can still see a line where they were.

 

its held on by 3 screws..i would hope it would F up the paint.
