V2 Owners: Do you use a grill?
Is there anyone that happens to not have any mesh for their v2 grills? I just recently got my v2 bumper painted and installed and didn't think about the mesh for the grill area. The body shop told me if i wanted to get the mesh put on now, he'd have to charge me for taking off the bumper and reinstallation.
I have two takes on this.. if you have an IC, at least it fills up the area well and it looks nice. If you don't have an IC, then it looks very empty... get the best grill available. Avoid the cheapy chicken wire mesh grills at all costs! And for God's sake.. do not get a chrome grill!

I have an IC, my only concern with leaving it open is that on our cars they tend to sit back a bit too far from the bumper opening. Thinking of going with some black mesh. Not sure how its going to be installed on the Shine though since there are no hooks or tabs. I'll leave that to the bodyshop I guess.

Between that and the little things that the Shine doesn't come with its not so much of a bargain when you compare it to the authentic part. I predict a price drop.

^ I did get shine's amuse and it was perfect. My bodyshop guy only mentioned a few pinholes, but nothing more, and no waves and not much prep time. I can't comment on Shine's V2, but the amuse quality was top notch. My bodyshop absolutely HATES aftermarket kits, but he was VERY impressed with Shine's amuse bumper. But I agree, if you get a $hitty replica, you are going to spend more money in the long run getting it right... at the same time... you can get a $hitty authentic part and have the same issues.. I've been through it all!
