I'm just curious how some of you go about painting certain interior parts the color of the exterior. I've seen some pics of DB interiors, and LMS interiors.

Do you paint them yourself? If so what do you use, a sprayer? Also...what kind of paint?

I'm thinking about doing this in my car...a few select areas around the dash/doors, the strut bar cover....

 

definitely invest in professional work

 

You might have to worry about mad glare too since you probably want it cleared with high gloss clear.

 

I will be having my center consoles painted to match the car this fall once I decide on a new exterior color.

 

they just get painted like u would the outside of the car...its cheap enough to give them to the body shop...dont waste your time doing it yourself

 

I have alot of mine dont . Door panals are a bit much but there fiberglass and I couldnt see painting them black

Do you have problems with hand prints, etc on the door panels?

 

nope because I dont let people rest there arms on them LOL body sweat will kill clear coat
