my sentiments exactly....it would look nice on an SB too!

however, the carbon on blue gives it that serious tuner look as well...if thats what you're going for.

Nice kit...how much was the ensemble?

Gee flipity101, I wonder where you got that old FairladyZ emblem idea from?? Kinda looks familiar.

Did you see my Z on this site or at Englishtown? I had it at the show there.

edit: Duh.. nevermind.. I know who you are now.. I noticed your interior. We met at the Z meet in Cape May and then went to AC and Englishtown together.. That is you right?

It would look pretty sweet on an SB or maybe even a PPW?

My guess is an inconsequential amount. That's why I find it a bit odd, but to each their own.

the wing is the haviest part of this entire kit. i dont know what a real nismo kit weights but this one is probably about 18-22lbs total including the wing. i wrapped this kit up and had it in a box and compared to another kit i had of full fiberglass itwas abour 25-30% lighter no doubt. it seems strange when you lift up a large box and its that light to be honest.

eh.. if it was full carbon. you would have saved about 50% of the original weight if it was vaccum bagged instead of oven cured.. i dunno about this one.. he said reinforced fibergalss with carbon.. so most of the weight will be the resin stuck in with the fiberglass..

how many layer CF is this? i'm guess 1 layer with a dark fiberglass backing..

looks nice.

how much is your pricing

the only realy thing worth of leaving CF would be the front lip area and rear wing top portion...
everything else imho should be painted..

painting the kit would be pointless because its cf. im glad you guys on the board are open with opinions and to each their own. im thinking with the cf hood and front bumper and mirrors soon the car (ugly in some eyes) or not will definitly stand out at the car shows. im not a big big fan of carbon fiber but looking at magazines eg: import tuner, scc, yada yada, cf is a big thing in those editors eyes and in japan. my goal is to get on one of those covers and hopefully have a car that i can say no one has seen. i loved my car when i first got it but now im seeing a lot more on the road and well it kinda pisses me off. i did think about painting the kit but people have told me theyd kill me if i put paint on a cf weave like that lol. anyway thank you guys for your opinions but i like the way the cars turning out hopefully you guys will be doing your cars up and will post pics also. im open for any criticism because you never know maybe some peoples ideas may impact mine. but just wait guys the funs just getting started..... supercharger, nx nitrous kit, custom cf hood, a custom paint job, more tv screens and i have wheels comming in.....

ill definitly get some feedback on them lol....hint hint GTR

hehehe....

P.S. the only real thing that matters is that we all love our Z's and have a passion for fast cars with style

I dunno to me it makes the car look a little ricey. If it was my car I would definetly paint the carbon fiber.

Yeah, to each his own and all, but...yeah, will just leave it at that.

If it makes you happy though... *shrug*

still no pricing yet either eh?

FYI: fiberglass/FRP is fixable after an accident..
CF is not. that will straight up crack..

but CF .. if TRUE CF is more resliant than fiberglass is. it will flex and return to shape.. but i think this is more of a fiberglass body with a carbon overlay....

ahh wonderful vacation. anyway it has some flexability to it, its not solid like a brick. pricing is 2650 for the full kit and it is real carbon fiber.
