ill definitly get some feedback on them lol....hint hint GTR

hehehe....

I fail to see why it would be pointless to paint the kit. It looks god awful as it is, especially on the DB.

How would that be pointless? The real point of carbon fiber is weight savings. Paint doesn't add much weight. I don't like it unpainted on the DB...but it is your car, you don't need anyone elses approval.

If people just want weight savings then use fiber glass. It's is just as stiff as CF, but costs much less. Then painting it would make sense, cause fiberglass is fugly. I think that if you are going to pay for the CF, then show it off, don't paint it. If you want it painted, use fiber glass.

there's a sweet veilside V1 thats CF AND painted.

The trick to avoid not painting it AND having it look rice. Is in the design. IMO, I agree that you should paint parts but leave certain parts exposed so you can *TELL* its CF. EG, the front, paint everything except the actual lip and leave the bottom of the "mouth" unpainteed. The Skirts, choose and area thats subtle and leave that unpainted. The spoiuler everything but the *sides*.

Unpainted IMO it looks ***. Like you only had enough $$$$ for the kit and thats it.

WIth my cmon, ultimately if you're REALLY concerned about the weight - why put a body kit on in the first place??
With my $$$ I'd rather have a painted FRP kit, than a riced out CF one....

"look!! at me its real carbon fiber" - pssshhhhh!!!!
