I just joined this forum for this wing!(linked from 350ztech) I have been looking for the Strosek wing ever since I saw it on the Gt-s Concept. Hope I am not to late!

We have already made a purchase with Strosek through a third party. There have been delays because Strosek did not want to work with us on a "simplified" shipping method. When I say, "simplified" ... I mean I tried to make it as simple as possible for them.
We were going to have Baxglobal (our shipping company, which is headquarted in GERMANY) to arrange pick up of the package for us. All they would have to do is have the package ready for pick-up. However, the refused that option for whatever reason and decided to ship the package to JFK airport in NY. The problem is , we're in California! What in the world are they thinkin?. Now we have to arrange for someone to pick up the package at the airport, handle the paperwork, and pay for customs.
Strosek has admitted that they have never sold any kits directly to the U.S! NEVER. This is basically their first time doing business with the U.S and they don't really know how to handle it.
My ETA is still a month from the time we receive it and we're still going to push to release before Xmas. i believe the package should already be on its way to JFK.

Yes. The entire kit is being replicated, but you'll be able to pick and choose which parts you want. I saw Ken about two weeks ago and he was pretty sure the kit was being shipped and would show up in New York any day. The problem now is getting it shipped from New York to California. I know it sounds like a simple thing, but shine needs someone trustworthy with a vehicle large enough to pick up the kit from customs, and bring it to a shipping company to get it sent out here. There's a good chance the kit is in New York already and Ken is probably figuring out a way to get to the shop to start work.

I talked to Ken again this afternoon and although there were some setback due to Strosek not having a clue, the kit is on its way to the US and Shine will be able to get to work on it soon.
