if there was any decent info, I think Ken would have posted.

Basically the way things went down is the kit was to be ordered through a vendor on the east coast back in late Nov or early Dec. For whatever reason, the order was not placed/recieved till mid January. At that point, shine started inquiring why the kit wasn't here yet. As far as I have been informed; as of the 12th of Feb the kit has yet to leave Germany. Strosek did not have the pieces ready to go as they might have led some to believe.

All this info was as of 2/28. what has went down since then, I don't know for sure, but I can speculate.

I would think the kit didn't go out till mid march, if even by then. From that point, it will take at least 2wks to get to the east coast vendor and then figure a week to get to shine. From there it will be 2-4 wks to replicate and then a week to us. That is all if the kit has even shipped from strosek yet. So the optimist in me would guess I might have my kit by the end of april or mid may

for real, this whole time i thought the kit was either still in New York or Shine had received it.

Well, its probably worth the wait. They are nice pieces and I know the wing alone costs $1700 plus shipping from germany.

I bet they'll have a "Back to School" Strosek sale lol

have you checked on the price? When I looked into the wing, that by itself is $1700 + shipping imo there are better kits out there for the money, but a shine replica might be worth it.
