Default How do i use floor jacks with Veilside V1 skirts? Pic

Just a quick question, i know you can jack up my car with the rear differential like in the pic here, but do i have to take off the skirts to jack up the car with the factory points?

I just put it a little past the rear-side skirts. It's doesn't make the car as high but it does the job. Is that the highest you can raise your car with the jack?

Or you could get a low profile racing jack. They are at autozone for about 100 bucks. It slides right under my INGS skirt with no problem.

Yes, just past the factory jack point, behind the little lip with the notches you straddle with the scissor jack, there is a little reinforced area that you can jack from. I ussually put a piece of 2x2 wood on top of the jack and line it up right behind the weld seam ridge.

yea they make a low profile jack but i still cant get that under my greddy sides...use a few boards and drive up them on whichever side of the car u want to jack up.that will do it for u.

I have the central20 sides and even the low profile jack doesn't work. I recommend getting some small ramps to get the clearance. Once you get the car on the ramp, then use your jack to get the car up. Last time we had the car up, we didn't have ramps. So I had to jack it from the pumpkin, then use another jack for the sides once I had enough clearance. WAY too much work.

I think he's talking about where to put the jack-stands. Not how to jack up the car...

I found this picture in a thread. Is it ok to use the rear lower link? I also just noticed that only one side has a jackstand
